Tip #6: Embroidery Basting Stitches - Click Here to find the download for the Bernina embroidery hoop basting stitches. This is a long stitch that stitches around the perimeter of the hoop to hold the fabric in place while doing embroidery. When using these, sew the hoop basting stitch before sewing the embroidery design and as a separate design. Then load the design you want and sew it out.
